Lila Taft
Lila studied and worked in architecture, dreaming of one day owning a practice. For reasons she understood later, she decided not to pursue this path. As she parted with her identity of aspiring architect, she began to nurture a keen interest in her wellbeing. She found movement and cleansing practices that lit her up unlike anything before. She became a teacher of The Dailey Method and began to unearth parts of herself that had been hiding. She walked into a Vitaliti Wellness nutritional cleanse, and discovered an even deeper relationship with her body. She immersed herself in Vipassana meditation, and learned the art of seeing things as they are.
Her studies of nutrition, meditation, and movement began to inform everything she pursued. Wellbeing became her priority; awareness became her practice. And when that was clear, tools began to flow to her. Lila received her 200 hour vinyasa yoga teaching certification from Stephanie Snyder in San Francisco; and 250 hours in clinical ayurveda studies with Deanna Batdorff in Sebastopol, California.
As a facilitator of yoga since 2017, Lila has crafted a practice that not only develops physical alignment, strength, and ease, but also supports students in cultivating emotional awareness, tuning into their personal navigation systems, and allowing their inner guidance to lead.
