All are welcome, but this workshop is designed for 200 hour + yoga teachers who wish to bring a more intentional class to trauma survivors.

SATURDAY | AUGUST 12 | 8AM-6PM (BREAK 12-2) | $120 REGULAR OR $99 BY AUGUST 1

This training will provide yoga teachers with an in-depth understanding of the human nervous system and how different types of trauma affect all of us. We'll then explore the science and evidence behind body-based healing modalities such as yoga. Teachers will learn and then practice facilitating trauma-informed yoga classes, understand how trauma-informed yoga classes may be different from studio classes, and come away with important skills to apply to teaching yoga in any setting.

This training will include a lecture with note taking encouraged, discussion time, example classes, small group work, practice teaching, and a final teaching assessment.

The book The Body Keeps the Score by Dr. Bessel VanDerKolk is recommended
