October 28th is the Hunter’s Full moon and three days before Samhain.

Samhain (pronounced sow-an or sow-in) on October 31st is one of four Celtic fire festivals and the pagan new year. Samhain is a time of celebration and remembrance of our ancestors. It is also a time when humans acknowledge that dying is a part of living. Given how much societal resistance we have to grief, death, and dying, it is not hard to see how this pagan holiday turned into our modern-day Halloween celebrating everything scary!

The full moon is a magickal time to meditate on your heart’s desire and to set thoughtful intentions. Harness the power of this night in a sacred circle to bring forth the goals you want and align with life in your most positive way.

Together, we will combine the energy of both auspicious dates and co-create a beautiful evening ceremony filled with powerful community energy and love.

This circle will help you:

1) Help you shift grief in your life potentially seeing the gifts from your experiences.

2) Set strong intention with a journey and ceremony that can help you remove blocks that may keep you from growing fully in your life.  

3) Feel the supportive energy and the witness of community circle.

*Each journeyer/participant will receive a small Samhain gift for attending as a token of your courage to lean into your growth and for cultivating your resilience in today’s often harsh climate.

Meet Your Facilitator:

 A lover of mystery and believer in magick, Madrone (She/They) is a skilled community weaver who has led sacred circles and ceremonies for the past sixteen years as an animistic wild witchy womyn! She is practiced working with the healing powers of nature. Perhaps her Celtic roots led her this way, but one thing is for sure, she loves creative ritual and facilitating restorative circles as a safe space for transformation.

Madrone is the founder of Taproot Journeys LLC where she supports clients as a certified End of Life Doula for humans and animal companions, is a death and grief coach, educator, certified breathwork facilitator, Warrior Goddess facilitator, creator of Threshold Circles, and Sundoor Fire Walk guide. She also facilitates The Gaian Collective’s Drumming into The Seasons in Flagstaff, AZ celebrating the Wheel of the Year.  

She has her Ph.D. in Communication Studies with specialty in gender studies, team, interpersonal, and inter-natural communication. This gives her a unique and informed perspective as she leads and facilitates communities helping them open more fully to themselves.

Her passion lies in creating sacred spaces to be you, fully!
